Terms and Definitions

• Domestic deposits

  The sum of all domestic deposits, including demand deposits, money market deposits and time deposits.
• Equity capital

  Total equity capital (includes preferred and common stock, surplus and undivided profits).
• ROA

  Return on assets, net income after taxes and extraordinary items (annualized) as a percent of average total assets.
• ROE

  Return on equity, annualized net income as a percent of average equity on a consolidated basis.

In 1917, a group of local investors started Citizens Bank & Trust Co. as a small community bank located on Main Street in Marks Ms. 90 years later the bank main street location is still the headquarters for Citizens Bank & Trust.

In the mid 1990's Citizens Bank & Trust Co. expanded into Tunica and Desoto counties with branches located in Tunica and Walls Mississippi. Today the bank have three banking centers centrally located in Northwest Mississippi.
