Morrow National Bank was formed in Morrow, Ohio by James Couden, making it one of the oldest banks in Ohio. The First National national bank located in Morrow.

In 2006, 1st National Bank passed $100 million in assets. The banking center in the Eastgate Wal-Mart opened bringing the total number of banking locations to 14. The Administrative offices moved to a brand new building located at 1160 E. Main St. in Lebanon. Digital images replaced checks for bank and client record keeping.
