Terms and Definitions

• Domestic deposits

  The sum of all domestic deposits, including demand deposits, money market deposits and time deposits.
• Equity capital

  Total equity capital (includes preferred and common stock, surplus and undivided profits).
• ROA

  Return on assets, net income after taxes and extraordinary items (annualized) as a percent of average total assets.
• ROE

  Return on equity, annualized net income as a percent of average equity on a consolidated basis.

1st Summit Bank is an independent, one bank holding company headquartered in suburban Johnstown. The company provides a wide range of banking, trust, financial and investment services to individuals and businesses through its subsidiaries, 1st Summit Bank and Cambria Thrift Consumer Discount Company. There are nineteen offices located throughout Cambria, Somerset, Indiana, Blair, and Westmoreland Counties.

In 2004 the Bank expanded with the opening of its first “in-store” offices at Johnstown and Altoona Walmart Supercenters. A third “in-store” office was opened at the Greensburg Walmart in 2005. This was first office in Westmoreland County. Assets grew to $679 million by the end of 2010.
